God has revealed incredible truths to us throughout the various stages of Salvation History, culminating in the person and work of Jesus Christ.

Religious Education is a life-long endeavor that every Catholic Christian engages in until his last breath... in order to plumb the depths of these truths so as to grow in closer union with God the Father in Jesus Christ through the Holy Spirit.

This means that religious education is a transformative, lifelong assimilation of what God wishes to bestow upon his children. It doesn't end at confirmation, nor does it end with the mind. Rather, it ends with eternal life.
